The first in-game footage has been released for SBK Generations. It shows a lap round a circuit using the rider’s view from on the bike. I don’t know enough about bike racing games to know if this viewpoint is common, but it certainly seems like a neat idea.
The game is due out in May for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Not sure that counts as a rider’s view- where are his hands? It’s like someone put a camera on a remote controlled bike.
Mirror’s Edge showed how much more immersive games in first person view are when we can see hands and feet.
His hands are on the handlebars, which you only get a glimpse of round some corners.

This just reminds me of the ‘naked gun’ intro for some reason. We just need the music and some cuts to obscure locations and we’re set!
Road rash…only bike game that will ever rock…
