This made me laugh quite a lot.
Mainly because i couldn’t quite believe that a robot dinosaur would be called ‘Slag’ when i was younger (without knowing what slag actually was apart from a derogatory name for a man/woman of low moral fibre)!

Back story to me is slightly sketchy actually. In G1 these guys were built on Earth (hence the limited brain capacity), in War Within they weren’t dumb since they were the strong team Tieger described here.In Animated, it was a similar case to G1. Created on Earth through the power of the Allspark and receiving sub-par brains because they were Dinosaurs that turned into robots, not the other way around.
The explanation here that the forms are what give them the limited brain capacity simply does not fall into normal lore. Just because Omega Supreme is a spaceship, doesn’t mean he acts like the computer off of Star Trek….he was made to cos his emotions were removed supposedly :P

Looks interesting but slightly broken in story. Hope they can pull it together really well.
On a side note I have never played a Transformers game. Are any of them any good?

Apparently War for Cybertron was actually pretty good, but i wouldn’t go anywhere near the titles related to films. They are generally pretty pish.
