Metro Last Light Welcomes You To Moscow

THQ has just released the E3 gameplay video for the sequel to the grossly under-appreciated FPS Metro 2033. In this video, we get to see Artyom forge an alliance with an officer of the Red Line before the duo make their way towards the safety of The Theatre.

As you’ll see, Metro Last Light is shaping up to be something quite special.

  1. I’m currently loving Metro 2033 at the moment – about 2/3 of the way through. It’s going for £3.74 in the Steam Summer Sale if anyone fancies playing it on PC.

It’s definitely not a game to play if you have bad nerves. Last Light looks like it’ll dish out more of the good radioactive paranormal stuff.

    • Just bought it!

Along with that Batman Franchise community pick which just came on sale.

Everything is such good value, my wallet is in critical condition.

    • I really want to buy it but I am sceptical. How does it play?

      • It plays very well on my machine (which is relatively new) but I’ve heard it can be a beast if your machine’s older. It’s quite graphics-intensive.

It’s a pretty hardcore game – ammo is scarce and you can die very easily, especially on the surface – but the atmosphere is superb. I was so impressed that I went and read the novel that it was based on.

It’s definitely one fo the best FPSs I’ve played in a long time, probably because it’s a bit harder than usual…and I’m playing it on normal setting.

      • I dont have to worry about specs thank goodness I build my own PC’s .I think I may get it on what you have said, I really like the setting. I just hope I can live through the scares!

  2. Really looking sharp!

  3. Bought 2033 last night on Steam for €2.49 without hesitation, really wanted the game and looking forward to Last Light :)

  4. Looks incredible but I really hope the other guy stops talking at some point.

  5. Should I get the original on the 360? I’m thinking of pre-ordering Last light on PS3, but not sure about the story element…

  6. Looks like a great atmospheric FPS, sold.

  7. This looks amazing, it’s always great to see an fps that’s not stuck on modern warfare. Loving all the little details like fly’s landing on your mask and being able to wipe your mask after getting blood on it.

  8. Wow. I like.

  9. Metro 2033 was something special – hardest game I ever played – the library the library I never want to go there again…still gives me nightmares

I have been looking forward to this for so long

    • I’m not that far away from the library…really not looking forward to it.

  10. This is the first time I’ve paid any attention to the series and it looked that great last night when I watched this that I picked up the book and tomorrow I’m gonna get it on OnLive. The book is tremendous btw.
