News is surfacing this morning that an exploit for the PlayStation Vita has been found that’ll allow native Vita code to be run – rather than PSP code, which was previously executable via another method that involved certain PSP games that have since been patched.
“Developer Yifan Lu started a new project called Usermode Vita Loader (UVLoader), it will be a homebrew loader for the PSV, basically,” claims Wololo.
The work appears to be based on a currently secret exploit – for obvious reasons – Â is very much in its early stages and is purely intended for developers at the moment. Obviously we’ve not seen this so-called exploit running, and chances are Sony will close up the hole quickly.

Great, so the
pirateshomebrewers will destroy the chances for another Sony handheld. And just as the 3DS is about to get a new Monster Hunter game.
