A quick Twitter-fuelled straw poll suggests it’s hardly widespread, but I’ve just tried to buy a few games from the PSN Store and met with incredibly slow page loads, a good few time-outs and an inability to load the download list.
This is all from the Vita, mind, and normal online play and other functionality appears to be running smoothly enough, but I’m definitely seeing a few people on the quick-fire social network with similar stories, and SCEE are aware of the issues.
I’m gently hopeful that this is all because you’re downloading PlayStation Mobile titles in the millions and Sony’s servers are overloaded with bite-sized purchases, but it’s more than likely to be a faulty wire somewhere – that’s how this sort of thing works, isn’t it?

My card has ZERO money on it so I could only buy that Rhythm samurai thing… :( Hopefully this outage is only to do with huge downloads though.

It’s launched by SCEUK, so it’s not open for all of EU, only apan, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia.
Other countries will follow soon, just like with the PSN Movie store…. LOL YEAH RIGHT.
