Fans of God of War and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale rejoice; Zeus (from God of War) and Isaac (from Dead Space) are available to download for Battle Royale from tomorrow, and if you own God of War: Ascension (read: have activated the network pass) you’ll be able to download the new characters at no additional cost.
This offer will run for 30 days and if you don’t have Ascension, then each character will cost €4.99 (£3.99). There’s also a new stage, Graveyard, which only costs €1.99 (£1.59) and is a mashup of MediEvil and The Unfinished Swan. Crazy, I know. You’ll also be able to purchase all three pieces of DLC in a bundle for €9.99, which should translate to £7.99 in the UK.
Zeus is described as a heavyweight with limited range but extreme force, due to his unique ability to power up every possible move by simply holding down the button. Isaac is a mid-ranged character, with projectiles involving the use of his Kinesis and Stasis powers, along with his staple Plasma Cutter and strong melee attacks.
Both characters have full customisation options, as well as unique story modes and scenes, so there’s plenty of new content to get your hands on.
The game will also receive a patch to balance the existing characters that little bit more – it’s always nice to see a game supported long after release, even if sales were poor.

Are you forgetting Dead Island GOTY edition?! And after such bad sales of PSASBR, I reckon it’s pretty likely there will be a ‘complete’ edition once the last bit of dlc has been out a month or two. I called it with Mortal Kombat and the Komplete edition was announced a few days later!

I get the optimistic but I highly doubt there going be a GOTY edition on this one fact, as much as I would love one to get a plat on the ps3 as I have vita this won’t happen

DLC seems a bit expensive, but I’m tempted to buy it anyway to support the game, if there are any chances of there ever being a sequel.
