Tomb Raider Just £20 On PSN Store Until Sunday

Crikey.

Sony’s Easter Sale just kicked it up a notch (yeah, I know) – the latest Tomb Raider, normally £50 on the PSN Store, is just £20 (well, £19.99) until 11.59am on Sunday.

That’s a £30 saving on what’s a really, really good game. Sure, it borrows aspects from the Uncharted series but there’s a certain sense of irony there – if you’ve not got Tomb Raider and fancy having it on your PS3’s hard drive, perhaps now’s the time?

Not convinced? Read our impressions on the game here.

Note: despite some effort to find the game on the online interface, I couldn’t get it to show the price, but as far as I know this is the deal just now. You can try this link, but it’s probably easiest if you just jump onto the PS3 and get it that way.

Yeah neither webstore or PS3 store updated with the new deal. It’s an alright deal though for UK people, rest of EU … meh.

    30€ = 26£

Looks like they are doing it like the xmas 12 offer sale. Which means this offer will go live tonight at 00:01 GMT.

absolute bargain. I’m nearing the end of my play through and I’ve loved every minute so far, I’ll be a bit sad to finish the game.

Just what I was going to say. Went down to GAME to get 20 quid’s worth of PSN credit with my reward points, saw it on the shelf for 25 and thought exactly the same thing.

Tis a massive surprise as SCEE never do this to a recently released game. It is worth picking up despite the Uncharted set pieces or from what i’ve seen it’s Uncharted set pieces. It’s ironice that Tomb Raider borrows some elements from Uncharted, which borrowed some elements from Tomb Raider.

If i could connect to PSN and had a bigger data cap, i would be tempted to get it and break my own no digital PS3 games policy. :O

Probalay has something to do with square Enix not hitting there sales targets for this game thus in the sale.

SCEE don’t make the prices do they?

Never? They did a similar discount for Far Cry 3 in December almost right after it was released too :-)

Hmm… Great deal, and normally I’d be all over this, but my money is already spent on Bioshock, Sly 4 and Steam and Origin sales… Guess I’ll have to get it on disc at a later time then.

Haven’t played a TR game since the first one so think I’ll give it a go.

Ahh this is really tempting but sadly I won’t be able to afford this until Monday. Would rather have a physical copy too, on amazon the game is down to £25 so hopefully by late next month it will be sub 20.

Just tried to take advantage of this offer, and there is no add to cart option on the store.
Come on Sony sort your life out.
