A Bundle Of New PS Vita Trailers

With all the PlayStation 4 announcements, trailers and games heading our way, let’s not forget about the PS Vita. This year will see dozens of new games release on the handheld, including The Walking Dead, Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway and Batman: Arkham Origins. There’ll also be plenty of smaller games from indie developers to get your hands on.

Following from Sony’s rather wonderful E3 press conference last night, trailers for upcoming, and newly released, Vita titles have been released.

Dragon Crown is an upcoming fantasy brawler for PS Vita from developers Vanillaware.

Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims is getting the HD treatment. The 2012 PSP hit is getting a re-release exclusive to the PS Vita with updated HD visuals and new features.

The really intriguing Contrast releases this year on the Vita, from developers Compulsion Games. Contrast is “a breakthrough platform/puzzle adventure that blends a vibrant three dimensional-world from a bygone era with that of elaborate shadow landscapes to create an exquisitely surreal gaming experience.”

Already released is Men’s Room Mayhem, which does sound rather funny. As a janitor you have to control a chaotic men’s bathroom by directing men around the toilet, and trying to stop fights from happening. You score extra points for maintaining men’s room etiquette!

Stick It To The Man is next up. “Hard hat tester; Ray has a bizarre accident and wakes up with a giant pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his brain!” – Bonkers! These new powers allow him to read minds and change the world with stickers. However, he’s on the run from the police for a crime he didn’t commit.

Here at TSA we are huge fans of Futurlab’s work. Their latest offering Velocity Ultra, released a few weeks ago now, and if you haven’t already bought it for your PS Vita (Why not?!)  then this E3 features trailer should tempt you do to so! Coconut Doge Revitalised recently came out for the PS Vita as well.

Last but not least is Rayman Legends. Origins was a perfect fit for the PS Vita, so no doubt Legends will be a bundle of fun on the handheld.

  1. Contrast looks a bit Bioshock in it’s art style – I like it :)

    • Agreed, and when the camera panned down the buildings near the start,it reminded me of when you first saw Rapture :)

    • I’ve been looking forward to it for a while now, very hapy it’s on Vita!

  2. The Rayman Legends video was great. It’s gonna be a day-one purchase if the rest of the game’s like the video.

  3. Contrast looks really cool, loving the transition effect from game world to shadow world. Stick it to man looks really funny will be keeping two eyes on that, and that Rayman Legends level was awesome.

That’s one thing i noticed about Rayman the music is brilliant.
