UK Games Charts: 16/09/13 – Saints Are Four For Four

The Saints are still marching in for what I am certain will be the last week as a small game called Grand Theft Auto V will be hitting the shops tomorrow.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix makes a strong start in second place replacing Rome: Total War II which plummets down to tenth. Diablo III holds on in third and Splinter Cell retains fourth whilst last week’s no. 8, Killzone Mercenary, drops to fifteenth.

NHL 14 is the only other new entry this week with the Metal Gear Solid Legacy collection landing out of the top twenty at no. 24 and Sony’s Puppeteer limping in at no. 40.

  1. Interesting too see GTA IV making a reappearance. I have been replaying it a little myself in prep for V and you know what, it’s better than I remember (except the car physics! Really hope they fix that).

I wonder if confused parents are buying the wrong game.

  2. Great 4th and final weeks reign at the top for Saints Row. Pity about the mediocre chart entry of Puppeteer but I think it’s more to do with release timing than anything else, I’d give it a few weeks for a possible better showing.

    • It looks more like a Christmas game to me, very odd timing.

      • Add to that people saving for new consoles and some end of year big hitters.

This need a May/June release when there is barely anything else around.

  3. I wonder what will be number one next week?
