Proteus Release Details For PS3 And Vita Revealed

Last night I attended an event that was showcasing Proteus for the PS3 and the PS Vita. This version is being ported over to the Sony systems by Curve Studios, and it was nice to get a bit of hands on. However, you’ll have to wait for the full review for the final impressions of the game.

That wait shouldn’t be too long either as at yesterday’s event it was announced that Proteus will be releasing today on the US PS Store, and tomorrow in Europe. Asian markets will have to wait a few more weeks.

The game will be priced at £9.99 though for the first fortnight of sale there will be a discount, with non Plus members getting 10% off while Plus members will receive a 20% deduction, and it will be a Cross Buy title.

That wasn’t the only announcement last night with Ed Key, Proteus’ developer, saying that it may be possible the game will support the Oculus Rift, though planning of that is in the early stages as of yet.
