The countdown to the Xbox One launch will be covered on Spike TV but unlike the PlayStation 4 launch there are no game announcements planned.
You will be able to view the stream on Xbox Live, Xbox.com, Spike’s website, GameTrailers and the GameTrailers app which be available to all Xbox owners, Gold or otherwise, until next Monday.
The show will be broadcast from New York City and Los Angeles and will include interviews, gameplay and live performances from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and DeadMau5.
Due to time differences U.K. gamers will have had their hands on the Xbox One a couple of hours before the U.S. launch show which makes watching it a bit pointless.
However, those of you in London (yes, I know, again, sorry), have been invited on Thursday to an evening of gaming, special guests and a live performance. Details have yet to be announced but if you follow @xboxuk then all will be revealed.

the announcements were the only reason the PS4 event was worth watching, also i’m pretty sure making it all about the celebrities is exactly what sony did wrong with the ps3 launch…. I’m thinking MS showed most of their cards early where sony has been keeping plenty close to the chest.

I thought the game announcements got lost in all the general hype of the release anyway. Better to have saved them for later.

Cool mask, but could they get nobody better than Deadmau5?

I hope they have an Xbox One-themed Pimp My Ride episode this time.
