Fixed Bugs

  • Fixes for several single-player campaign issues
  • Fixed progression issue in Chapter 1 (The Father)
  • Fixed dropship issue in Chapter 2 (The Shadow), Section 3
  • Fixed death loop issue in Chapter 7 (The Handler), Section 1
  • Fixed closed doors in Chapter 7 (The Handler), Section 4
  • Fixed streaming issue in Chapter 8 (The Dead), Section
  • Fixed mobile scan unit issue in Chapter 9 (The Destroyer), Section 1:

The bugs that have been fixed are rather amusing for examlple this was the gremlin in Chapter 1.

After being killed near the beginning of the section (for example, by the guards entering the apartment, or by the flying drones while crouched under the debris), players could perform actions only available in later levels, such as sprinting, jumping, sliding and opening doors. They were then able to break progression by sliding into Sinclair or Kellan’s father and killing them, or alternatively by opening the door blocked by a plank.

  1. Some of those bulletpoints seem to say the same thing, it’s like they want to make it seem the patch is more substantial.

    Still a good update anyway.

  2. Right then, i’ll have to load it up again and see if i’ve been suffering from one of these “progression issues” or whether i’m just crap. :/

  3. I would pay good money for a Mute All option.

    • Ignore me… I’ve just searched the forums and it’s been there since patch 1.07! Apparently it’s in the Audio Options menu :)

  4. I really would like to get back into Killzone
