A Titan Souls Demo Is Ready To Punish You On Steam Ahead Of April 14th Release

It’s the season for devilishly difficult games, with Bloodborne a big hitter on PS4, Dark Souls 2 getting a re-release on the newer consoles and let’s not forget the cunningly named Titan Souls. No, it’s not another entry in From Software’s Souls series, but rather an indie game that pits you, your single hit point and your one magic arrow against a series of bosses that will squish you flat in an instant.

Trust me, it’s hard, and now you can try it for yourself, as a demo of the game has landed on Steam for PC and Mac today, ahead of the game’s full release on April 14th for PC, Mac and both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Steam’s pre-orders also point to the game costing £10.99. It’s a great way of showing how far the game has come since the original Ludum Dare prototype, and even though some will balk at the prospect of playing a game with pixel art, there’s a lot of extra polish and evolution on show.

If trying out the demo tickles your fancy, the game’s obviously quite light on the system requirements, so practically anyone should be able to play, and best of all, if you plug in a PlayStation 4 controller with a USB cable, it should work right away, without needing any fancy drivers.

  1. Titan Souls sounds like it is Dark Souls on Steroids. And that’s just the name!

As for the game itself, that is bloody cruel! Even FromSoftware won’t be that cruel by giving you one hit point and one magic arrow!

Actually, on second thoughts, they probably would whilst having the music laugh at you and giving you false hope.

Naturally,i may give this a chance when i get a PS4 in the future.
