Alienation Gets Local Co-Op On July 5th

Couch potatoes rejoice, Housemarque have responded to their fans and local co-op will be added to Alienation on July 5th.

Up to four players can join in the fun locally, but you are going to have to fight over the loot. The new update will also introduce a Leagues system divided into five ranks and  over week long cycles. There will also be two new difficultly levels,  Expert and Master, three new trophies,  and adjustments to Legendary weapons loot drop rates and increased Hero levels cap.

That’s all coming for free, but there will be premium DLC on July 5th.

Survivor’s Pack includes the possibility to make all main weapons available to all classes, a new piece of gear (the Vortex Grenade, which sucks all enemies to a central gravity point dealing constant damage) and three exclusive bullet colors.

Get it for only $5.99/2.99€. The Season Pass, priced $9.99/7.99€, gives you a big bundle discount on this and upcoming DLC, including Conqueror’s Pack, Veteran Heroes Pack, the game’s soundtrack and Alienation’s Dynamic Theme.

  1. I just picked this up yesterday, liking it so far but i might need that co-op feature later on.

  2. Brilliant news, long live couch co-op. I think a lot of people were put off buying this until the local co-op came out, probably should have been delayed until it was built into the game and then released.

  3. Smashed this silly. Loved it. Need to return but The Witcher 3 has its claws in me right now.
