If you saw the reveal of Crackdown 3 at E3 you might have been scratching your head thinking it looked rather different compared to what had been shown before. Where was the awesome cloud powered destruction? Well, it turns out the impressive destruction will only be available in multiplayer.
Update: This is actually a simple confirmation of something that was reported almost two years ago, following the game’s reappearance at Gamescom 2015.
“There was a couple of reasons why we didn’t want to put that technology into it,” explains design director Gareth Wilson. “Firstly, I didn’t want it to be a completely online game. If you’re using cloud power it needs to have a constant, decent, connection to the Internet. And I wanted the campaign to be playable offline.”
“And the second reason was just narratively, in a competitive multiplayer decimating the entire city kind of makes sense. But in a campaign where you’re there to save the world it doesn’t make that much sense.”

Oops. So it is! Tuffcub has been docked one biscuit.
Tuffcub
Look I hadn’t seen the fricking game for two years I cant remember EVERYTHING about EVERY GAME.
Maybe if they hadn’t announced it in 345BC then I’d remember a bit more.

Give him back his bloody biscuit for crying out loud!

There is only one way to resolve this. Tuffcub has a fair point but Teflon probably has been meaning to punish him for some smut related incident or TSA is banned because of another Tuffcub/Game incident. But which one is the correct person? There’s only one way to find out! FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!

It will be interesting to see this in effect. If it works well then frostbite may benefit from it too
