There’s been a dearth of blockbuster titles over the last few weeks, and it’s this that means that God of War has gone practically unchallenged for the past month, enjoying an extended stay at the top of the UK retail charts. After four weeks on top it’s now the longest stay at the top of the charts any PS4 exclusive has enjoyed, and the longest run since The Last of Us on PS3 had six weeks in 2013.
Another 30% week-on-week dip in sales means nothing here, as there’s no big new games to challenge it, so that Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze retains second place, Far Cry 5 is third, FIFA 18 fourth, and so on. The only new entry in the charts was Conan Exiles, which entered in 13th place.
Here’s the top 10:
LW | TW | Title |
1 | 1 | God of War |
2 | 2 | Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze |
3 | 3 | Far Cry 5 |
4 | 4 | FIFA 18 |
7 | 5 | Fallout 4 |
5 | 6 | Mario Kart 8: Deluxe |
6 | 7 | LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 |
17 | 8 | Assassin’s Creed Origins |
12 | 9 | Grand Theft Auto V |
16 | 10 | Destiny 2 |
