A Gamestop conference was held today which explained that the 80gb model of the PS3 is no longer being produced, and is soon to be replaced by a 120gb (or more) model, bundled with a Dual Shock 3 controller.
We don’t know when the new SKU will be released, or for how much, but now we’re relatively sure that there will be one, and that it will be released soon.
Shockingly, Sony offered no comment, so we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement.
