Obviously, we don’t condone hacking of any kind, especially the seemingly low-level stuff going on here, but it appears that the guys over at PS3News.com have not only gotten hold of what looks like Firmware 2.40, but appear to be launching their own code from SD cards. Regardless, the in-game XMB is looking very swish, nice and responsive.
