Picture Sharing Coming To PlayStation Home

PlayStation Home seems to be getting much better recently. It is taking Sony a long time to realize its dream of a fully interactive socializing space for PS3 owners, but slowly and surely, they seem to be getting there.

The US PlayStation Blog today announced the ability to share pictures with fellow Home users (if you live in the US, you can try it today). Users will be able to purchase photo frames from the shopping area to place upon the walls of their apartments within Home. Once you have chosen a frame, you can then upload any pictures from your PS3’s hard drive to place within Home.

It is a nice new feature and one that we would like to see expanded upon. Having video on a virtual TV or music from a Home hi-fi would be brilliant. But for now, that remains a long way from where Home is at right now.

The photo sharing is currently only available in the US Home, but it will be making its way across the pond, we just do not know when. As always, TSA will have news on any further Home developments as and when they happen.
