Qore Delayed: PSPgo The Reason?

When the PSPgo was leaked a few days before E3, at first everyone assumed it was a mistake, what with the bulk of the conversation being retrospectively addressing events that would have been discussed at E3.  Later analysis pushed us into thinking perhaps it was intentional, though, and now Qore subscribers have been sent an email announcing the delay of episode 13 – the one that would have contained the PSPgo reveal.

“As mentioned on the PlayStation(R) blog on Friday, we are experiencing a delay in the release of Qore Episode 13,” the email reads. “We are currently revising the content of the episode to bring you the most up-to-date information. With all of the great PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) content announced at E3, we are planning to have a full feature story on the PSP(R) go in a future episode. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Note that it says the PSPgo content will be in a future episode, not the delayed episode 13.  There wasn’t anything particularly bad with the post E3 discussion in the leaked video, but perhaps Sony just wanted to tie everything up a little neater.  After all, if the Qore video was leaked, little was made of it during Tretton’s speech and it certainly brought Sony to the forefront of people’s minds last week.
