Yesterday Sony showed off their new PS3 adverts, which we picked up as being, well, flawed. Essentially, the end of the new 30 second television advertisements instructed the viewer to search for “start PS3” which, at the point of the advert hitting the web, didn’t actually come up with anything remotely resembling an official PlayStation site. This was swiftly rectified later in the evening with some targeted, paid-for Adword advertising, but adverts shown today now say “start-ps3.com” at the end instead which points to the normal eu.playstation.com site.
In the meantime, both Play and Xbox.com appear to have picked up on the sponsored “start PS3” term. Take your pick.
