I’m wondering whether had Infinity Ward and Activision spent less time hyping up their game and more time testing it, we wouldn’t be having this toing and froing with patches, Trophy issues and now online issues. Apparently the latest patch, 1.02, has killed online connectivity for a lot of games, with the IW forums going mad (relatively speaking) with complaints.
Try going online and if you’re one of the unlucky ones, you’ll get the following message: “Fetching playlists, updating ranks and unlocks, connecting to matchmaking server complete.” Fine, except that’s all you’ll get, and you won’t be able to go any further. I’ve not personally tried it since last night, but this is seemingly only affecting the PS3 version and clearly not everyone.
