We’re due to learn more about Deus Ex 3 in the coming months, but has a recent trademark submission already confirmed the game’s full title?
Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been registered by publisher Square Enix in Europe with its North American wing also registering the same name along with a variation (minus the semi-colon.)
A prequel to the awesome Deus Ex and the less-than-awesome Deus Ex: Invisible War, Deus Ex 3 is currently in development in Montréal by Eidos along with fellow cult-classic Thief 4.
We’ve mentioned it a little here before, mostly because we’re big fans of hard sci-fi cyberpunk morality tales with heavy doses of human augmentation set in dystopian futures ruled by totalitarian governments and/or fervent religious orders. Phew!
If the teaser trailer (below) is anything to go by, the new title seems quite apt.
