BioWare’s Christina Norman has revealed that BioWare are now working on a new Mass Effect 3 project, known only as “Project Wombat”.
Speaking via Twitter, the developer said,
ME3 Trivia: Today I started work on Project Wombat” for Mass Effect 3.
She also added later, in another tweet,
Wow a lot of speculation on what Project Wombat is. Sorry I can’t say! I can say the name has nothing to do with the project.
Earlier in the day, she had randomly tweeted that the ammo system in ME2 was originally called “Project Sasquatch,” so there is a possibility that the tweet was just to suggest that the game is now in development, which does seem to be the case.
