Gran Turismo 5’s representation of the famous Nurburgring track is a joy to race around, but it was revealed this morning that three versions of the teutonic course will be available in the full game.
“Coinciding with the running of the Nurburgring 24 Hours race in Germany this weekend, it was revealed today that all three courses of the Nurburgring, Europe’s most iconic racetrack, will be featured in Gran Turismo 5,” says the official site.
“Players will be able to test their skills on these challenging courses, literal testing and proving grounds for the world’s best cars, recreated in stunning detail as only Gran Turismo can deliver.”
The three courses in question are the short GP course, the epic Nordschleife and the 24 Hours course, leading us to hope that Polyphony are building in a full 24 hour race this time.
“Visitors to the Nurburgring 24 Hours race this weekend will be the first to try out all three courses in Gran Turismo 5 on special demo stations set up at the race,” says the site. See you in Germany, then.
