5 Minutes of Halo: Reach

Is there a better place to première footage of one of your biggest selling titles than slap bang in the middle of your E3 keynote? No, of course not, which is exactly what Microsoft have done with Halo: Reach.

  1. the no.1 reason i might buy the new 360 no.2 gears 3 no. 3 kinect only cus im curious about it

  2. Looks very good and i own a ps3, a game i would like to play

  3. Stunning, that’s looking every bit as good as I’d hoped.

With the exclusion of ODST, which just felt straight-to-video, the Halo games are always the best sci-fi available in games, for me.

  4. Im abit meh for this, but will still end up buying it LOL

  5. I love halo, this unfortunatly looks every bit HALO 3 expansion as i assumed it would, the beta was essentially the same game as 3 after all the hype, another let down…

    • Did you even play the beta? It was nothing like the original games, to the point where it annoyed the fans…

    • What? The beta was nothing like 3. It had new game play modes, new mechanics, new weapons, new maps and the handling felt different. What was the same as Halo 3?

The trailer above looks nothing like a Halo 3 expansion. Hell it’s squad based for a start!

  6. It looked good, but I remember call of duty, Resistance 2 and the original halo in that video.i.e. I felt a bit underwhelmed.

  7. Still looks light and fluffy and cartoony. Bland landscape and colours. Visuals definately improved from 3 but it has such a halo look and feel to it. I guess 99% of people will love it then.

  8. Killzone 3 has nothing to worry about in terms of loosing its graphical fidelity to this. Its an improvement but I just don’t get the Halo games.
