Last week saw Ratchet up against Crysis’ high tech Nomad. It was a very close fight but in the end Ratchet remains champ. Nomad bows out having lost by only 3 votes. Final score: 17 – 14.

How will Ratchet do against one of gaming’s toughest bosses? Let’s find out…RATCHET VS. SEPHIROTH.

Ratchet’s Pros:

  • An arsenal of extremely powerful and inventive weapons
  • Hoverboots, a giant  ratchet and high jumping capabilities
  • Ears that make him aerodynamic
  • Can wear full body armour
  • A winning smile…look at his wittle face

Sephiroth’s Pros:

  • A ridiculously long sword
  • Calm and collected
  • Can achieve flight with just a single wing
  • Excellent aerial attacks
  • Hair that’s ‘Worth it’.

Ratchet’s Cons:

  • Clank
  • Has a tendancy to jump off cliff edges
  • Clank

Sephiroth’s Cons:

  • Gets lonely
  • Susceptible to ‘Your Mother’ jokes
  • External Shoulder pads…they weren’t even in fashion in the 80’s

      • Nope – My vote should still stand – I stand by the fact I don’t like the FF series and truely believe with his massive ratchet he would knock the crap out of the long haired, one winged loser.

      • Because it sounds like bias and I HATE that. Also, people seem to vote more on franchise rather than a characters actual performance in the real world.

      • Your vote is not “spoiled”. You have the right to vote for who you want and for whatever reasons you want. God knows most people do when it comes to electing politicians.

        My point was: the purpose of Friday Fight is “Who would win in a fight?” not “Who do you like more?”

  7. That’s just sad, Ratchet would never realistically beat Nomad in a fight. Oh well I guess that’s what he gets for being a PC only character :/

  10. Ratchet, r.y.n.o, fusion grenades, groovitron, shotguns that freeze and smash enemies, hurricane gun….. What’s a sword got against all that?
    Though nariko would win if she was I’m instead of ratchet as well :P
