Re-downloaded Super Stardust last night, fired it up, it told be it was updating to version 5 and then boom, froze the PS3. Three attempts later and I removed it :-(
Probably just me though, wonder if i need get again and not re-download from my old download list.

Theres a problem with it doing this update. just start the game not signed in and cancel the update, then when you are in the main menu of the game it will ask you to sign into the PSN and then update it from there. this should work.

I think that there is also a way where if you just download the version that’s on the store (i.e. download directly from the store rather than your download list) it’s already version 5? You shouldn’t have to pay for it as you already have & it may not ask to be updated.
I may also be talking complete gibberish…!
