BioWare has confirmed that the Mass Effect 2 Aegis Pack is now available for PC and Xbox 360 for the tidy sum of 160 MS points, or 160 BioWare points. For such a small price you wouldn’t really expect that much content, but on the whole it isn’t too bad. You get;
- The Incisor sniper rifle – a burst-fire weapon that excels in destroying enemy shields.
- The Kestrel Helmet which adds weapon damage, shield strength, and headshot damage.
- The Kestrel Torso Sheath which adds melee and weapon damage and shield strength.
- Kestrel Arm Sheathing which adds melee and weapon damage and shield strength.
- Kestrel Shoulder Pieces which adds shields and melee damage.
- The Kestrel hip-mounted Power Pack which ups shields and heavy weapon ammo capacity.
No doubt fans of the franchise will jump at the chance to test out this new equipment in battle, and for such a low price we can’t blame them!

Finished with this game now.. Great story though.
Shame they shortened the length of the game a bit, and dumbed down some of the RPG elements.

I found it a lot lot longer than Mass Effect 1, mainly cos I got bored of planet exploration in the first and decided to finish the story so only took about 12 hours. I thought at first the diluted RPG-ness was good, but I miss ME1s system

Isn’t that most of the limited edition stuff? Wow… I just bought Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 digital deluxe on Steam during EA week… That kinda sucks. At least it was pretty cheap!
