ModNation Racers is a game that causes such mixed emotions it’s a wonder that no wars have broken out over it. On one hand there is the immense creation options and solid driving mechanics, but on the other is the frankly infuriating loading times, maddening difficulty level and downright disobedient online connection.
A patch is now incoming that adds a casual difficulty level to the career mode – toning down the level of aggression that the computer controlled characters show. This will be a Godsend for anyone who has led a race right up until the last corner when the computer decides to unleashes missiles on you…followed by some more missiles. Did we mention the missiles?
No release date has been confirmed but we shall pester them until they yield.

looking forward to this patch, and once the load times patch appears this copuld be another game that i spend alot of time on. its already a very fun enjoyable game, with the patches it will be fantastic.

I completed the career weeks ago and NOW they adjust the difficulty? “Uh, yes, where do I post my complaint? It’s less ‘encased in an envelope’ and more ‘a punch to the groin’.”

since when has this game had any major connection issues? moines fine. i want a load time patch. they should have done a tekken and given a partial install option.
