inFamous (anti)hero Cole will be reverting from his new sleek boy band look back to something a bit more rugged and inFamous-ish. Apparently Cole was changed as people did not like the original character and appears that people liked the new tattooed, bequiffed studly hunk even less.
I can’t tell you exactly what he looks like, but I can tell you he looks more like the person we played as in the original Infamous and less like the man who was in all of those E3 screens and videos.
Which do you prefer? Boy band Cole with his lovely hair, Mirrors Edge style tattoos and younger appearance, or Messenger Cole with his cropped hair, stubble and clothes by TK Maxx?

This is awesome news. I’m glad they saw the light. The new “revamped” cole looked too much like it was redesigned by a marketing team, and not a art department.

im not a fan of the new cole hes alright but prefer the old one and it looks like their changing him back from that comic cutscene they showed

Loved the original Cole. His outlook on life, and his Rorschach voice, to top it off. He was a brilliant character and one which is only rarely explored in comic-book-game-heroes-with-super-powers-in-saving-the-city-big-twist-at-the-end-time-travel-type situations.
I’m guessing they didn’t rewrite all the lines and get a new voice actor, though. So it’s going to be a 30 year-old bike messenger with a grey, decaying face with cracked, evil lips spouting the voice and good-humoured jokes of Nathan Drake…

Old Cole all the way. the new look just didn’t fit the game and the story loses it’s meaning if the character changes that radically. and they’ve changed tthe voice too, which is weird…
but i definetly will buy the new infamous anyway

Didn’t Cole change his appearance slightly depending on which path you chose? How are they handling that in 2? Are they saying he choose the “Good” ending?
