2K Games has announced Minerva’s Den – an all-new single-player focused DLC for BioShock 2, set to arrive later this year. In development for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Games for Windows-LIVE, Minerva’s Den is a self-contained story that puts players in the role of an all-new character who has teamed up with Brigid Tenenbaum to unravel a dictator’s stranglehold on a key district in Rapture.
The DLC will allow you to explore Rapture Central Computing – an unknown district of the undersea city. New weapons and a “devastating” new Plasmid are on offer, as well as more dangerous Splicers that command the power of the elements, upgraded Security Bots that throw rockets and lightning bolts, and even a never-before-seen type of Big Daddy.
Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K, had the following to say;
“Minerva’s Den is a substantial addition that will give players more of what they’re looking for: more story, more narrative, more gameplay and more of Rapture.
The core team has created an exciting product that further enhances the mystery and allure of the world of Rapture. Minerva’s Den will be a fitting conclusion to the BioShock 2 saga.”

Good news, only just picked up the 1st for £4 and loving it 2nd for £10 and all ready to play after . I may have bioshock overload soon

No such thing as a Bioshock overload – I played the first one solidly for a week or two & loved every minute of it!
The first one is really good & to get it for £4 is an absolute bargain – Still one of the best games that i have played this gen!
I have not put as much time as i would have liked to with the second one (i may very well look to rectify this soon), but again, a tenner seems like a bit of a bargain to me!

BioShock 2 MP is awesome and addictive, i don’t know what you guys have played… BFBC2? CoD? Maybe a break from those games and start playing BioShock 2 MP and TRY to get hooked… :]
