As ever, our Wednesday’s wouldn’t be complete with a new batch of PlayStation Store content to spend all our money on, and this week’s no different, if only because we can get our pixelly hands on Scott Pilgrim. However, there’s also new DLC for Red Dead Redemption, a demo for Mafia II (see our hands on here) and some – yes – new PSP games. Dive in!

I played the Mafia demo last night, not bad at all.

i can’t wait to get my hands on it. been really getting into my classic gangster films of late

Can’t believe none of you noticed we have timewarped back two years (article title) :P
£2.69 for a theme. £1.49 is a rip-off let alone more. Those themes should be free or at most like 25p.
Bejeweled 2 for PSP… omg… that is bad. Ultimate timewaster. But I’m not paying £6.29 for it, that’s laughable.

More Dragon Age DLC :D

Gotta hate the Pilgrim price. 10 dollars isn’t 10 euro dammit!

RDR dlc for me i think this week
gazzagb
Will try the Mafia 2 demo, won’t get the RDR DLC just yet, haven’t even completed the main story yet.

At last SMT: Persona reaches the EU… I dont even know how long ive been waiting for this!

I bought the LE of Persona from the US last year, and while the package was lovely, the game itself has aged BADLY since the PS1 days, and not enough has been added to bring it up to date for the PSP release. Saying that it does have a buttload of game content on offer, so if you can get past it’s datedness, you’ll lose dozens of hours on it easy. Wish they’d bring Persona 3 P over instead tbh.
This is all assuming on my part you don’t know all this already of course… if you do: apologies :)

i think i could get past the datedness, but i just saw that its not on the store… at least not here in austria. so its not my choice anyway…
of course, id prefer Persona 3 too, but seeing how few games we get in comparison to the US, id be thankful for anything…

Hey, that’s actually a pretty nice update, but is it just me, or for all it’s detail and visuals, is Mafia actually not as much fun to PLAY as Godfather 2 was? That seems a rather crazy situation to me.
Also, gotta give it up for Scott Pilgrim. Truly outstanding game so far(Just did level 2) and is an absolute RIOT if you’re a fan of the comic. If you’ve no prior knowledge of the series or are going off the movie, I can see it being boring sadly. For me though, Seeing the Kim Pine/Knives Chau “team up” move in action always gets a chuckle. The River City Ransom stylings of the shops are nicely done as well.

i wouldnt say not as much fun as godfather 2, but the shooting seems a bit awkward in comparison to the original mafia… but now that i think about it, i might have played that on the pc…

oh, also i dont like it how you always run. is there a way to just walk that i havent found? and the running animatin looks a bit funny too…
but overall i think the demo was a blast :)

Scott Pilgrim demo was pretty awful. Was disappointed with Mafia 2 as well. Why would you ever decide R1 for reload was a good idea?
Square = reload
R1 = fire
