TSA Reader Survey

Everyone likes surveys, right? At least, everyone likes answering questions and clicking buttons, don’t they? Well, we’re running a survey to try to improve on our service and target our ads better so that we can continue to bring you all the special TSA goodness you’ve become accustomed to.

We would really appreciate it if you took a few minutes to let us know a bit about you, your spending habits and your thoughts on TSA. It’s all totally anonymous and if we get enough people filling it out I’m going to give a £20 PSN voucher away in our forums. Does that sound like a deal?

It shouldn’t take you long to fill out, we kept it as brief as we could. All you have to do to is click this handy little button and thanks to the magic of the internet (and something called a Java Script) the survey will grow, miraculously, from the centre of your page. All questions need an answer but there really aren’t that many so please, get clicking!

Click here to take the survey without the need for fancy Javascript nonsense.

TSA thanks you!

Update: Apparently four separate proof readers isn’t enough… I’ve fixed the discrepencies people pointed out in the comments.

  1. Done. ^^
    Will the outcome be published?

  2. Lol, you have “You watch TV regularly” listed twice…
I strongly agreed twice… I now need to watch twice as much TV?

  3. The ‘regularly watch television’ question appears twice. Just so you know… or is that to check we are paying attention?

  4. I use an adblocker so I never see your adverts… Sorry.

    • That’s what I was thinking, I’ve tried to do my best to answer from what I remember of the brief few times I’ve been to TSA on another computer with no adblock.

      • That’s a point, I’ve put that they are unobtrusive but that could be driven by my settings! lol

I assume TSA doesn’t have pop-ups or those infuriating ‘take control of your screen’ ads where you get an annoying animation appearing over the top of your what you were reading…

    • Right now there is an ad for Weight Watchers… so given this is a gaming site I’d have to answer ‘Strongly Agree’ to the ‘Are the Ads appropriate?” question ;)

    • Unblock the ads just on TSA then!!!

      • If they stop having flash ads, or animated gifs, I will.

I want to support this site, but I can’t stand having something blinking next to the text I’m trying to read.

  5. Erm, I live in the Midlands, what do I put? it’s in the middle, literally, not east nor west.

    • I too live in the midlands but feel I have more in common with the North than the South, so put that… wouldn’t want to be thought of as a southern shandy drinker :p

      • No need now :)

      • Midland Northern Monkey then. Better than a southern softy I guess ;-)

      • And we wouldn’t want you :)

  6. done and done. i would like a survey for tsa’s layout. i often get a tweet then when i visit tsa it takes ages to find the article

    • Think all the tweets have article links in

  7. completed… I do pretty much read the site through the rss feed (and click through to read stuff I’m interested in) so really appreciate it when E3 was on and the whole story came up in there…

Would it be possible to get the first 2 paragraphs of an article to come up in the RSS feed constantly? Just enough for me to get the jist of the article and then if it’s something I’m interested in I’ll come through and read it :)

  8. Last question worried me a little, given how things have gone over at Giant Bomb over the last two weeks.

    • Don’t panic. It’s just a question, we have no plans. If we ever did go the subscription route it would only ever be for added features.
We do have to do what we can to keep the site going though so remember that clicking our ads and putting us in the safe zone for any ablocking software is actually a big help with all of this boring business stuff.

    • Will it include cross game chat? ;-)

      • As long as they move that battery icon I don’t care.

      • Made me giggle :P Yes, I giggle…

  9. Last question I’m not sure about. Subscribe for free? Or for a fee? Should state if you meant for a fee.

Anyway, I got a bit down when I had to chose my age range lol

  10. Nice to see East Anglia totally missed out of the location option!
The ‘TSA has the best community’ is a little ‘head-up-own-arse’.
The questions about the ads had to make me laugh, especially as there was an Orange ad obscuring part of the questionaire!

    • Aw, feeling a little bit grumpy today?

    • Geez. Try a different side of the best tomorrow perhaps?

      • I’m not sure whether my ‘best’ has a side ;-)
No, not feeling grumpy today. Hey, if there was no such thing as negativity there would be no positivity! No offence intended to anyone.

      • Argh shite! What a foolish mistake to make! Think I need a nap in my ‘best’ :-p

      • :-)

    • Good to see some other from East Anglia too (assuming you’re from the right part of it) :)

      • There’s a ‘right’ part of East Anglia?

      • Yep, and as always it’s where ever I am.

      • So, what happens when you leave East Anglia? The whole region becomes ‘wrong’?

      • I was born just outside Peterborough. My ears still pop if I go more than a few feet above sea-level…

      • Some are more wrong than others.

Peterborough’s not bad but I’ve not spent much time there

      • I live about 10 miles outside of Peterborough in a little town called March. I was brought up in Soham though, which is now famous for being somewhat evil!

      • Ok, so I’m in Norwich – is that the right part?
