TSA Reader Survey

Everyone likes surveys, right? At least, everyone likes answering questions and clicking buttons, don’t they? Well, we’re running a survey to try to improve on our service and target our ads better so that we can continue to bring you all the special TSA goodness you’ve become accustomed to.

We would really appreciate it if you took a few minutes to let us know a bit about you, your spending habits and your thoughts on TSA. It’s all totally anonymous and if we get enough people filling it out I’m going to give a £20 PSN voucher away in our forums. Does that sound like a deal?

It shouldn’t take you long to fill out, we kept it as brief as we could. All you have to do to is click this handy little button and thanks to the magic of the internet (and something called a Java Script) the survey will grow, miraculously, from the centre of your page. All questions need an answer but there really aren’t that many so please, get clicking!

Click here to take the survey without the need for fancy Javascript nonsense.

TSA thanks you!

Update: Apparently four separate proof readers isn’t enough… I’ve fixed the discrepencies people pointed out in the comments.

  1. Survey taken!!!!!

  2. I put no opinion for all the questions about ads, Adblock Plus means I never see them, in general I find adverts annoying not just TSA’s.

  3. Done. Took no time at all.

  4. Done – was also the hardest my brain had to work today

  5. done but wasnt logged in. does it matter?

  6. All done. That’ll be £20 please ;)

  7. I assume the question about reading only the RSS feed is a joke ? I have been ranting and whining here a few times about how it isn’t a proper RSS feed. I would pay a small fee for a proper RSS feed in fact (not for removing ads, which I already do most of the time).
I’d also like to point out that making the question about annual income mandatory is a bit disturbing for me. I don’t particularly want to disclose this kind of information. I left the field blank, but it reset all my answers when I tried to submit… So I refilled everything again, with a random choice on this question.
I’m hoping this survey will help you sort through your readers expectations (I don’t believe I’m very representative).

    • I understand your caution with the income question but we don’t collect any personal info so it really is just a vague indication of what band our readers – in general – might fall into.
Thanks for taking the time our to fill it.

      • No sweat :) I really like your work (especially the way you always seem to break timely news). If I had to point another thing, I’d say I’m really not a fan of the way comments are presented under the items, making it difficult to track comments (mine especially) and therefore any possible answers (maybe there’s some way I don’t know of to keep track of this).
Anyway, congratulations on your work already ! Despite my complaints, you really do make efforts to listen to your community and stick to your ideals.

  8. only teeny tiny wee improvement suggestions i have are the addition of “quote” and “edit” buttons, and the ability to track replys to your comments (perhaps through your profile).

other wise enthralled by my TSA experience so far.

also, a bit off topic but how does one apply an avatar on TSA?

    • Go to Gravatar.com and sign up there using the same email address you joined TSA with. Give it your avatar image and within a few hours it should start showing up here too :)

      • awesome.

il just need to wait until i have access to a pc (using my ps3 atm)

        also i took the poll.

  9. ur right. i do like clicking buttons :)

  10. All done. Hope my answers help.

    • Peter has noted your results down on toilet roll and will be examined promptly.
