It’s another very busy week on the store, with all the usual games, demos, special offers, add-ons and other media.

Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light is this week’s headline act. This title represents a departure from the normal Tomb Raider series and offers gamers the chance for co-op adventuring and puzzling.

Elsewhere on the store are trials and unlock keys for TerRover and Deathspank: Thongs Of Virtue and the demos for Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow, EA Sports MMA, My Sims Sky Heroes and WRC FIA World Rally Championship.

PSP owners are receiving some loving too with the release of FIFA11 (on Friday), UFC Undisputed 2010 and GTI Club Supermini Fiesta, the amazing God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta demo and the addition of NBA Live 09 and The Sims 2: Pets to the stupidly cheap PSP Essentials range.

  3. I cannot see why there is PlayMemories?? It’s very similar to the Photo Album app already on the PS3, except this does 3D pics and you can’t listen to your own music! Does anyone know why it exists?

    • For people with Sony 3D cyber-shots I think, else how could they look at their photos in 3D?

    • Its a US anniversary isn’t it?

      • That was a few weeks ago. In Europe, PlayStation is 15 today.

  8. Played the Castlevania demo through last night via PS+, really didn’t seem to flow as well as GOW3 or Dante’s Inferno. Also, typically of Kojima productions, the cutscene/game ration was well above 50:50.

    • It’s been getting amazing reviews. The full game obviously has more gameplay.

      I thought that, I used to love old skool Castlevania, I don’t know why they couldn’t do something along those line, but saying that I do love GoW & Dante’s, but the cutscenes kept inturupting the gameplay… everytime you killed someone there was a another movie to sit through – spoilt it.

      The combat didn’t have that indescribable ‘feel’ to it either like GoW or Dante’s, I’m a bit puzzled by the reviews from the sampling I’ve had – perhaps reviewers like watching intrusive and flow-wrecking cutscenes much more than I do.
