The words Gyakuten Saiban in a game title might not mean to much to you, but that’s the Ace Attorney himself, Phoenix Wright. Star of some of the best games on the DS, it looks like his usuals hosts Capcom are working with Level-5 on bringing a mashup between the charismatic lawyer and – yes – Professor Layton.
If you’re not yet mopping your brains up off the wall, you should be. The game is being described as a “combination of puzzles and crime mystery” and will be coming out on the 3DS, with Eurogamer claiming Level-5’s president Akihiro Hino described the crossover as like “two TV shows getting together and making a movie”.
