SvR 2011 ‘Finishers’ Montage

I love a good montage, and what subject is better than a whole host of WWE finisher moves?  They all look brutal and (as far as I’m aware) true to life.  The only thing that bugs me is I don’t recognise half of the stars on show.  Has it been that long since I’ve watched wrestling?!

  1. Theres some cool moves in there, didnt realise Jimmy Snuka, Jake Roberts and Ahmed Johnson (i think??) were in the game tho!!
    Might have to get this!!

    • i spotted Terry Funk in there as well !

  2. Looks good. And the Rock and Stone Cold in there as well. Pity I can’t play it until Christmas as it’s one of my son’s presents.

  3. I like the
SvR games, so this is a definite purchase. I like the fact they’ve added more legends this time round!

  4. The one thing that puts me off is when I saw it running at Gamescom it looked to have the same old stiff animation that put me off buying previous titles.

  5. Cant wait till next week the game looks awesome im a huge WWE fan as are my kids, be great to use Sheamus this time around hoping to buy the Lord of Darkness special edition been so long since seen The Undertaker in the ministry outfit hopefully Paul Bearer will be in it. The backstage walkaround is what im really looking forward to trying out i like the RPG style play. Just one question who is that in the video with the Grim Reaper outfit?? lol Never seen him in WWE before hoping thats a created outfit.

  6. I’ve not bought any WWE games this gen, mainly because when playing them round friends houses they just don’t seem as enjoyable as they once were. I think the WWE games are in need of a complete re-vamp. Dont think THQ do justice to them any-more and have become to settled in the contract agreement they have with WWE.
Actually it’s just crossed my mind as I write this that they should split the WWE games franchise between 2 companies like Activision do with CoD and each company releases on alternative years. That competition has certainly led to the developers trying to out-do each other, resulting in a better product for us consumers.

    • they wouldn’t be able to do 2 companies in 2 years. wwe changes all the time so by the time a game came out after 2 years, it just wouldn’t be relevant anymore. i do agree with you though about THQ passing the WWE torch onto someone else. the games are very similar these days. im still getting it day 1 though. WWE forever.
