New Trailer For The Sly Trilogy

When TSA went hands on with The Sly Trilogy back in August, we were suitably pleased with what we saw.  The platforming element had aged well, the controls where generally responsive, and the 3D was used effectively.  A new trailer for the game has been released in the run up to its release, which will be “before Christmas” for the UK.  I’m sure we’ve heard that before.

  1. ive never played any of the sly games before, looks similar to crash bandicoot, is it??

    • never played crash bandicoot, but I think this might be a bit more involved. It reminded me of Tenchu during the stealth bits, and there are some really cool set pieces. Similar to Beyond Good and Evil maybe?

      • Who’s never played crash bandicoot before?

      • You never played Crash? :O
        Whoa… You missed out =[

  2. from what I can remember of crash, Sly is a much slower paced game.

  3. Judging by the standard and price of the God Of War Collection, none of which I’d played beforehand (like Sly), I expect this will be making its way onto my Christmas list.

  4. Might pick this up … still unsure yet

  5. 3 games for £26 is a steal will for sure buy this.

  6. Why has hardly anyone played them, there awesome!

    • The same reason as god of war. coz no-one’s heard of them.

  7. I’m really looking forward to this. I missed out on the games first time round, and bearing mind that Amazon has the PS2 versions listed at £40, £30 and £30 respectively (from third parties), spending £25 on updated HD versions seems a bargain.

    • Well, if anyone is interested in pickig up the old ps2 versions of the game GAME has far cheaper pricing

Sly Raccoon: New £9.78 Preowned £4.99
Sly 2 Band of thieves: New £9.77 Preowned £4.99
Sly 3 Honour among thieves: New £4.87 Preowned £12.99

(However, sly 3 Honour amng thieves is listed as out of stock, i’m not sure if they have a way to restock on “new” old games)

I will definatly be getting this trilogy set on ps3 though, loved the original games and looking forward to getting to play them again on modern generation consoles xD

  8. Just preordered this today from LoveFilm for £22.93 (used the £2 off code ‘SHOP2’, expires today), plus I done it through Quidco.

Never had the games, but I remember playing one of the demos to death, so hoping I still feel the same.

  9. This is actually pretty high on my list right now. I just played through the first game on PS2 this summer, it’s probably my 4th-5th playthrough, but it’s still awesome! The other two I’ve only gone through like twice… I hope they add trophies! In that case I smell platinum :D
