Ubisoft Delays Key Titles

It has been announced as part of a fiscal report that Ubisoft titles ‘Driver: San Francisco’ and ‘Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’ have been pushed back to FY 2011-2012.  This is the second time that Driver has been pushed back.  Elsewhere news was mixed for Ubisoft as both  H.A.W.X 2 and RUSE underperformed.  Scott Pilgrim vs the World bolstered digital sales though, and pre-orders for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood are up 25% over Assassin’s Creed II.

  1. Driver looks like it needs loads and loads of work so any delay for that title is hardly surprising, GR:FS looks interesting though, shame.

    • Beyond good and evil 2 COME ON UBISOFT !!!!!!!!
I know the first one didnt sell well but you werent so good when it came to promoting it.

Step one : Give us an update on Beyond good and evil 2
Step two : Give us a release date
      Step three: Actually release it
      Step four : PROFIT !!!!!!

  2. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been delayed again? It was meant to be out last October! :(
Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell have huge fanbases, if HAWX and RUSE underperformed why don’t they go back to franchises that will definitely sell well? I’ll be the first to pre-order any R6 title that’s announced!

    • The line starts behind me for R6 ;)

  3. A new RB6 would be great, but it’ll have to do a lot better now.

  4. All bad news for me! Really looking forward to Driver and Ghost Recon.

So maybe no Hawx 3 either?

  5. they need to put an online mode in the scott pilgrim game and i’d totally buy it.

  6. Could this be the slow death of driver now?

  7. Ruh rohh… this could be Driv3r all over again..

  8. I thin this is just good for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier as their are far to many AAA games on Mars.

  9. Noooooooooooooo not Driver … oh well, maybe they can make it better

  10. I really continue to enjoy RUSE as there is no better RTS on the PS3, but I guess there will be no RUSE 2 or even any DLC to look forward to now.
