What Move lightsaber game? we hear you clamour. Considering there hasn’t been one confirmed, we don’t know either. That hasn’t stopped Anton Mikhailov, a member of Sony’s R&D division, weighing in on Microsoft’s attempt at recreating a home-made Jedi.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Mikhailov states:
“There’s no way Kinect can do a good lightsaber game […] I’m not in the product planning division so unfortunately I can’t tell you much more about that. But, technologically, it’s 100 per cent feasible.
“We can overlay objects over the controller in AR. You’ve seen that in Start the Party, and swords are a really popular one. The fidelity is certainly there to do all sorts of Star Wars kid-style action. You can very well do the lightsaber.”
It’s important to stress that this is not confirmation that there is a Move compatible Star Wars game in development. Of course, if there isn’t one, someone in Sony and/or LucasArts needs to be fed to a sarlaac pit.

Yes a game using move would be better as you are holding something but what will really make any sword fighting game better on move is that you have the navigation controller – that’s the real key to it. With move there won’t be any crappy on rails stuff like that kinect preview at e3
