New Dragon Age II Developer Diary

BioWare has released a new developer diary for its upcoming RPG ‘Dragon Age II’. The focus of this diary is on some of the ideas behind the game as well as some that never made the cut, such as the protagonist ‘Hawke’ tasting his own blood and howling.  The game is due out on March 11th 2011 in Europe for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

  1. Looks like I stil have a bit of time to finish the DA:O packs that iove bought before this comes out..

  2. I wonder how things you did in the first game affect the second if it’s a completely different character? I only managed to finish the first game once and I refused Morrigan’s um, offer so I didn’t make it out of the final confrontation alive…
I may have to re-buy DO:A and all it’s expansions before the next one comes out.

    • The big expantion pack is a bit cheaper on the PSN now.

    • just buy the Ultimate Edition, around £20 now, has everything

      • Funny you mentioned the Ultimate Edition, I just ordered it now off a website for £30, not quite 20 quid but it certainly seems a lot cheaper than if I’d bought the add-ons for the inflated PSN prices. Also pre-ordered Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition.

  3. Lovely that in such a massive world as DAO they’re now focussing the plot and core narrative around a single character in a way that makes the prequel look a little empty. It should create a far more emotive experience. Great news.

  4. I’m really quite looking forward to this now, still playing through DA:O at the moment and enjoying – my only issue is that for the most part I’m pretty crap at it (I have to lower the difficulty for certain parts, cause I want to get through to the end without making the game feel like a chore). Hopefully I might be able to get a better grasp on the new fighting system and really be able to enjoy the game without feeling like I’m cheating a little.

  5. I got the Dragon Age: Origins platinum and i’m a huge fan! Can’t wait for Dragon Age II! Still a long way to go, but it’s gonna be worth it.

  6. can’t wait fot this one i’ve already preordered mine!
