In another recent promotion for Saturday night’s VGA ceremony, an image from Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker appeared momentarily.
Though it may well be a sequel to the blockbuster PSP title, some have speculated that a PlayStation 3 version of Peace Walker could be on the cards. Considering the exposure Metal Gear Rising is getting, there is definitely a Snake-shaped hole in our hearts which needs filling, especially if we aren’t into portable gaming.
The Spike VGAs will be screening tomorrow night at 8PM ET/5PM PT in the States (roughly 1AM for us lousy tea-drinkers.)

I would love this to come to PS3. I just couldn’t get into it on a handheld although it was a fantastic game. Plus the co-op would be so much better and easier!

Please bring it to the PS3!!! I would love to play this game with a DualShock3 controller. Just can’t get used to the aiming controls and awkward shoulder buttons on the PSP.

I tried playing this game on PSP. Although it’s good, I can’t stand playing it on a PSP. This would be a welcome addition if it came out on PS3.

it would be awesome if it was released on the ps3. i know sony want to support the psp by keeping it exclusive, but surely they can’t ignore the revenue they’d rake in?!

I’d guess if there were gonna do a PS3 version it would be an all singing, all dancing updated version using either MGS4 or Rising’s engine, if there is one person who doesn’t do things by halves it’s Kojima.
