Buzz Now Free on PSN

Likely lost in the torrent of content of yesterday’s monstrous Store update, Relentless Software’s hit game Buzz! is now available for free on the PSN. At least, the player is. The studio reminded us on Twitter this morning (so we’re reminding you), revealing the following:

Buzz! is now available for free on PSN. Don’t worry if you haven’t got buzzers, you can use a wireless controller. Have a Buzzy good Xmas!

When asked by an intrepid follower who couldn’t find it, Relentless replied:

Ah yes the store update is a bit odd this week. The best way is to go to the Latest page and scroll down. I think we are box 29.

We’re taking a break from exercising the huskies to check for it ourselves. Pretty sure the questions won’t be free but, hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?

  1. Got it yesterday, I like to look in every nook and cranny on the store updates.

  2. Compared to the retail Buzz games it is very limited in terms of game types, questions, characters/sounds and no online play.

However it does offer a sample of questions for single player or offline multiplayer, and allows you to play/purchase the DLC questions packs on the store without otherwise owning the game.

Also as above you can use a regular DualShock rather than the Buzz controllers… I wonder if they’ll ever patch that into the retail games ?

  3. Does this have online multipayer? =)

  4. I saw it, downloaded it, didnt know it was the whole game though. Bonus.

  5. Thanks for the heads up:)

  6. I would download it but the family aren’t really fans of anything that isn’t boring. So I’d rather not sit and play it like myself like the saddo I am :(

  7. wooo thanks for the heads up! :)
