In “Battle of the Legends,” heroes and villains will battle it out in Gotham and Metropolis, with a number of DC icons joining the fight. Logging into the US servers will be a number of IGN staff writers as well as the game developers and comic book legend, Jim Lee, who will take the helm as Batman in this final fight. There are no details as to whether there will be any quasi-celebs on the EU servers, though by means of compensation, we at least get an extra several hours to enjoy the beta.

  1. That does sound pretty epic…unfortunately they lost me with the 15GB download :S

    • same here, didnt even get past 3 gb. Im glad in a way, its a game i may have loved, but I have no intention on paying the monthly fees

      • didnt get past the 15gb download as well, could have been good but its a game i dont care about and will defiantley not be getting

      • I didn’t even bother, it’s good but I won’t buy it.

    • damn… 15GB i would of pass too

  2. no news on a p+ discount then
i was hyped pre & start of beta, but its just to expensive.
(£7 per mth at max imo)

    • January PS+ content/discounts are due to be announced soon, I believe.

      • ty. ill look forard to that info with anticipation.

  3. I pray to the mighty gaming gods that this doesn’t freeze all the time….

  4. Cool idea but it still wont sell me that monthly fee.

  5. I’m too caught up in Assassin’s Creed to download the 3GB patch to play this. However, I’ve got myself sorted for when the game launches next week.

  6. Still on the fence with this one. As a PS+ should give us at least a month or too fee free. I would buy this game for a blast then….

    • You do get 1 month free when you buy it

  7. the point which i missed in prev 2 comments, is until i hear of a lower figure my enthusiasm has been zapped

  8. hmmm intereting, i may well join in to the Superman v lex luthor batlle tomorrow night, C’mon Supes

  9. Downloaded it, was dissapointed with it, deleted it.

  10. This game does sound great but i just cant play a game that needs to be monthly paid (despite how cheap the payments are)

paying for the initial price for the disc is one thing, paying not only the initial price of the game but also a monthly fee? well thats something different all together.

if the game doesn’t receive enough players then it will die, simple as that because nobody wants to play a MMO alone.
like ive mentioned before, if the game had no monthly fees then it would be beyond amazing and would actually bring some really good positive attention to Sony. but as this is a game which will constantly receive content, that wont be happening.

though regardless ill still watch the videos of other people playing it.
