Arc System Works has delighted fans of the fighting genre by announcing that ‘BlazBlue Continuum Shift II’ will be smacking the heck out of Nintendo’s 3DS this Spring. Listed in the ‘Fighting Game + Visual Novel’ category (the what?!), the game will look to continue the original’s fast paced fighting system, as well as lush visuals.

I can see why it is a visual novel as well, if the PS3 one is anything to go by you spend more time watching crazy cut-scenes than you do fighting!

Now that some of these games are announced (mostly Japanese) I wonder if they’ll be a launch title.
I predict that EA will likely release mobile ports and Ubisoft will release s**t family games.. so I hope the 3DS gets a strong line-up to battle the evils of mediocrity..
