EA has confirmed that ‘Shift 2: Unleashed’ will be hitting the shops on March 24th in Europe, March 25th in the UK, and March 29th in North America. Also released was a new trailer showing actual gameplay footage at night. Graphically it’s looking very nice indeed.

After Shift 1 and Hot pursuit, i’d more or less given up on the (imo) failing franchise. But i can’t help but admire how the camera sways from the g force of cornering. Back on my radar just for that gameplay experience (providing that it doesn’t have hot pursuit’s cheap and heavy handling).

Lovefilm sent me the first ‘Shift’ a couple of days ago. After playing GT5 recently, I can’t cope with the terrible handling.
On a plus note – seems like some easy trophies.

I thought it was cool the way the camera swung, keeping your focus on the direction you want to be heading like you would in real life. I would definitely like to try that out to see if it enhances the driving experience.
