The Killzone 3 hype train continues on today, and with awesome videos like this surfacing, I’m more than happy to keep fanning the flames. The offering below shows you over 3 minutes of multiplayer gameplay from the ‘Bilgarsk Boulevard’ map and appears to be focusing on some of the in-game rewards you can earn. It looks like these ‘ribbons’ work kind of like killstreak rewards, but it doesn’t seem like you always have to be on a streak to earn them. They offer all kinds of benefits ranging from silent footsteps to faster reloading and aiming.
I know a lot of people have spoken out about how killstreaks naturally make the game unbalanced by enhancing players that are already doing well, so it’s nice to see Guerrilla going in a little different direction. These benefits are more about small personal gains rather than huge air strikes and game-ending tactual nukes. It’s going to be interesting to see how well it plays once the final game is in everyone’s hands.
Don’t forget that the Killzone 3 open beta is starting back up on February 3.

Looks brilliant. Really want this!

Graphics look great but I didn’t really like the multi-player too much on the last one, a lot of the maps seemed like a lot of people crammed into confined spaces most of the time. Seemed to be not a lot of skill involved sometimes – just squeeze the trigger and hope!
I’ll give it a go but I reckon I’ll be back on BC2 within a week

I understand your point, I am a huge fan of Killzone 2 MP, but there were 3 maps at least that were only really designed for max of 16 players. However most people allowed for 32 players in the cycle of maps, so certain ones like Blood Gract were just unplayable unless it was a smaller player count.
I think they have have limited players to 24 for KZ3

Yeah, it was good but sometimes some severe over crowding, eg: … spawn, hold down trigger, 2 kills, dead, spawn, hold down trigger, dead, and so on etc.
Origami Killer
looking good :P will be a day 1 buy hopefully :) looks quite simialr though to Killzone 2 and so did the Beta but i like how less bullets are needed to kill someone and it just looks like its been made perfect now

This is my most anticipated game EVER. Didn’t really get into KZ2 multiplayer due to the fact every other game was on the map i hated.
