If you’ve cruised over to the PlayStation Store since the most recent update, you’ve probably noticed the new Motorstorm Apocalypse trailer. While you’re only able to watch the 3D version if you download it straight from the store (and watch it on a 3D TV of course), we’ve got the 2D version ready for your internet viewing pleasure. It might not look as spiffy in 2D, but the game itself is still looking very sweet, regardless of the dimensions.

Looking forward to playing this, it looks a bit different from the previous games.

I don’t like the choice of music.
MotorStorm is some fast drum&bass or some fast guitars.
That was just… weird.
It’s also not in the same style as the trailers of the first 2, which I loved.

I really enjoyed the music. I think it was definitely tailored to the video (or vice versa), as it shifted quickly from one theme and feel to another, but I’m loving the score.
Different feel to the previous trailers, yes, but not completely indicative of the music in the game. MS:A is getting a soundtrack to call its own, in addition to the plethora of music in the same vein as the first two.

I thought the music sounded pretty Uncharted-esque. I was waiting for the Duduk to come in.

I like the looks of that but I have the same issue here as I did with Split Second in that there’s only so much destruction you can do and in the end it could all become very scripted. If it’s random explosions and a ever changing world fair enough but I can’t see that being possible on a racing game where there’s potential to block off the course completely. Maybe I’m being too narrow minded, I don’t know…

Sleek.
Bet the train bit looks good in 3d!

I’m with blair: where is my pedal to the metal drum n’ bass?
