We liked what we saw when we got our hands on the first few levels of Hothead Games’ Swarm. A side-scrolling, kamikaze, run-the-gauntlet type puzzler, players are entrusted with the safety of fifty Swarmites. How you collectively move the drove of blue lunatics across the various death-laced levels is up to you, though expect to suffer an inevitably high number of casualties along the way.

Swarm is out on PSN and Xbox LIVE next month.

Awesome, Pikmin without an annoying astronaut messing everything up.

Interesting. I think I can still see myself getting this but the game now appears to be far more points & multiplier focused. *yawns a bit*
However, I’m still open to it winning me over.

Is it me or does it look like they’ve really over anti-aliased or blurred everything to possibly cover up some under par graphics???
